The Socreates App is available on iPhones and Android phones for a seamless mobile experience. You can also access it on desktop via www.socreatesweb.com. However, the app is not yet optimized for tablets, so functionality may be limited.
Minimum Requirements for Optimal Performance
Android: Requires Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) or later (Android 10 recommended) with at least 2GB of RAM (8GB recommended).
iOS (iPhones): Requires iOS 13.0 or above with a minimum of 150MB of available RAM.
What data do you track?
We track certain in-app activities to enhance your experience. This includes the day and time of each session, the number of Insight Videos you unlock, and how many Heartfulness Flows, Sacred Geometry Pulses, or 33-Second Tune-Ups you practice. We also track which Insight Videos you give a thumbs up or thumbs down. Additionally, we log the day and time you record in VentBox or HeartBox to send you a reminder 24 hours later when your recording is unlocked. However, we do not have access to your recordings, as they are stored only on your device.
Is my data shared?
No, your data remains completely private. Your responses to Socratic questions, journal entries, and VentBox or HeartBox recordings are secure and never shared.
How do I install the Socreates app?
Before installing the Socreates app, check that your device meets the minimum system requirements. If you are using an iPhone, you can download Socreates from the App Store. For Android users, the app is available on Google Play.
How do I create an account?
You can quickly create an account using social login options such as Gmail, Facebook, or Apple. Alternatively, you can sign up by entering your email and creating a password.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. To do this, open the Socreates app, go to Settings in the top-right corner, and scroll down to select "Delete My Account." If you might want to use the app again in the future, we recommend uninstalling it instead of deleting your account.
How do I uninstall the app?
If you need to uninstall the app, simply press and hold the Socreates app icon on your home screen. On iPhone, tap the "X" button when the app starts shaking. On Android, select "Uninstall" from the options that appear. Keep in mind that uninstalling the app does not delete your account; you must manually delete your account from the app settings if you want to remove your data permanently.
Do I need to cancel a subscription?
No, Socreates does not have recurring subscriptions. The app is free to download, and you receive 10 free sessions in the Journey Within when you install it. If you choose to purchase a journey for $9.99, it is yours to keep permanently, with no additional costs or ongoing fees.
How are payments processed?
Socreates does not store your payment details. All transactions are securely processed through third-party platforms, including Apple Pay for iPhone users, Google Pay for Android users, and PayPal for purchases made on SocreatesWeb.com. If you require a refund, you must request it through the platform where you originally made the payment.
